Behavioral Parent Skills Training Class

Updated: Jun 29

Parenting and Child Conduct Counseling offers a class for parents of oppositional children and teens. We call the class Behavioral Parent Skills Training.

There is no need to get tougher to get your child to behave age-appropriately. In fact, harsh disciplinary measures often cause childhood oppositional behavior to worsen. Instead, we begin by teaching parents valuable skills that will help to improve rather than further teardown family ties. Although our program focuses on the positive, it is definitely not soft.

The class goal is for parents to learn how to use alternative behavior management techniques to increase their child's compliance and reduce rule-breaking and aggressive behavior. This eight-week course is designed for children and teens between the ages of 3 -17.

The class begins on July 1, 2021, and ends on August 19, 2021. Classes meet on Monday evenings from 8:00 - 9:30 PM in the PCCC offices located at 912 Jefferson Street, St. Charles, MO 63301 or Live Online. The cost is $40 per week.

Contact us at (636) 674-9583 or canderson@childconductcounseling for more information about the class or to enroll.
